Linda Adams and daughter Wendy Legge Murphy  are MA Licensed Riding Instructors with

many years of experience in many different aspects of Equine Activities.

We offer lessons to all ages and abilities.

Here at Booth Hill Farm our instruction is individual and designed to reach the goals of every student.

We have a wide  variety of 9 different lovely, well trained  horses and ponies from Miniature Horses to  larger Quarter Horses and Cross breeds.

Our apprentice instructors and consolers all understand our way of teaching , we have taught hundreds of people to ride over the last 35 years. We do have a professional yet relaxed atmosphere  Our philosophy  is SAFETY FIRST , all students learn at their own pace.

We do feel it is important for all students to groom and tack up their own horse or pony for each lesson. This helps build a communication between horse and rider before the lesson.

For Safety sake  everyone starts with at least 1 private lesson.

Our staff will determine when a student will be ready to ride in a semi-private

or in a in group lesson.

We encourage older students to move up to become helpers with chores and many of them volunteer with our Therapeutic Program.

All students must ride in proper fitting riding attire.

Please have layered clothing for the colder weather with  gloves, boots, jodhpurs, (1/2 chaps optional)and  a helmet.

Our programs promote confidence and build self-esteem in a relaxed yet professional way.

The horse will teach us a lot more than how to ride if we can learn to listen to them.

We are open every day. Lessons are by appointment only.   call:781-545-2340

Her bright outlook and her love of children make Wendy a very special teacher.

Our Counslers:

Bella Morrisey:

Bella is a graduating from Marshfield High School in June and is attending Westfield State College in the Fall. Bella has been working with us for several years now, she is an avid rider and very excited about horses and childrern. Bella is a big help in so many ways here at the farm, coming over after school on the days she isn't working at her other job, cleaning the paddocks and taking care of the afternoon chores as well as training the younger kids to help with  chores themselves.

Bella also helps with the Therapeutic program on weekends and at shows in the Summer.  We are sad to see her go off to College but I'm sure she will have a great time at Westfield State as they do have riding there and Bella will be a great addition to their team. Let's hope she will return next Summer too.

Samantha Goodfellow:

Sammy has been with horses from a very early age. Sammy has a very natural feel for what horses are all about. She has been riding with us for 5 years now and is an excellent rider. Sammy attends Gates Jr. High in Scituate and comes to work and ride about 5 days a week. Sammy is very good working with children and helps teach the younger ones to do chores as well as ride. Sammy is a super worker and is willing to do anything around the farm, she also helps with the Therapeutig Riding and is a lot of fun to have around.

Elizabeth McGrath::

Liz is going to be at Gates Jr.High in the fall and has been riding with us since she was about 6years old. Liz is also a really good rider and helps with the Therapeutic Program too.

Liz has been a counsler  with us and is a big help with the little ones.  Like the other workers Liz comes to the farm almost every day and helps with chores and knows the horses and what they need another natural animal lover. Liz helps in all aspects around the farm and her quiet manor makes her a helpful counsler working with and helping young children build confidence

Without these excellent helpers we could not run all these programs for everyone

to enjoy. We are grateful to have all of them here at Booth Hill Farm !
